AFW Hike: Stonetown Circular Part 2, Ringwood, NJ on Sunday 11/23/2025
Considered one of the hardest hikes in NJ. We will divide the 11-mile loop into 2 sections. Part 2 is a true strenuous 5-mile shuttle hike. Expect 1000' elevation gain over 4 mountains. Beautiful views of Monksville Reservoir and beyond!
Difficulty/Pace: Strenuous/Moderate

AFW Hike: Lord Stirling Park/Raptor Trust, Basking Ridge, NJ on Wednesday 12/24/2025
4-4.5 miles. Lovely walk on packed soil/boardwalks to all the highlights of the park. Travel one mile down the road to visit The Raptor Trust. Recommended donation $2. Bring warm beverage. I'll supply candy canes.

AFW City Path: Philadelphia Flower Show on Sunday 3/1/2026 (Snow Date Saturday 3/7/2026)
Tour the Philadelphia Flower Show (including walking the exhibits, view 'horticourt', market and maker space).
Difficulty/Pace: Easy/Leisurely (4 hr tour that may cover about 3 miles)

Generally, event registration will open 3 weeks prior to the event (and close around 2 pm the day prior). Registration for City Paths and Backpacks are open immediately.
