AFW Hike: NJ Botanical Gardens, Skylands Manor, NJ on Wednesday 3/26/2025

5-6 miles. We will be looking for early Spring plants. Hike includes the grounds, Mount Defiance to Warm Puppy Rock. Hills and views. Good hike to transition from Easy to Moderate difficulty. Expect mud.

Harriman State Park, NY - Silvermine Picnic Area

From Palisades Interstate Parkway: Take Exit 18 on the left for Seven Lakes Drive/US-6/Central Valley. At the traffic circle take the 3rd exit onto Seven Lakes Drive. In about 1.5 miles entrance is on your left.

From Route 17: Go on Seven Lakes Drive for about 15 miles (2.2 miles past Tiorati Circle). Entrance is on your right.
