6 miles. Classic Shawangunks hike - carriage roads, rock scrambles, excellent views above Bonticou Crag and at Table Rocks. (We shall take the Yellow around the Crag.)

Harriman State Park, NY - Silvermine Picnic Area

From Palisades Interstate Parkway: Take Exit 18 on the left for Seven Lakes Drive/US-6/Central Valley. At the traffic circle take the 3rd exit onto Seven Lakes Drive. In about 1.5 miles entrance is on your left.

From Route 17: Go on Seven Lakes Drive for about 15 miles (2.2 miles past Tiorati Circle). Entrance is on your right.
