Approx. 4 miles out and back on the AT. Excellent scrambles, somewhat technical. Hawk Watch platform on return. Ice cream for those willing to wait in line at Bellvale Creamery.

Harriman State Park, NY - Silvermine Picnic Area

From Palisades Interstate Parkway: Take Exit 18 on the left for Seven Lakes Drive/US-6/Central Valley. At the traffic circle take the 3rd exit onto Seven Lakes Drive. In about 1.5 miles entrance is on your left.

From Route 17: Go on Seven Lakes Drive for about 15 miles (2.2 miles past Tiorati Circle). Entrance is on your right.
