Hike: Norvin Green State Forest

Location/Directions:

The New Weis Center, NJ Parking Area

Northbound: Route I-287 to Exit 55, Rt. 511. Go towards Wanaque, Rt 511 North. After about 4 miles turn left on West Brook Road (just past the Skyline Diner, recently renamed "Ringwood Diner & Pancake House"). Continue with Stonetown Rd. directions.* Southbound: Route I-287 to Exit 57 (Ringwood). Bear right for Skyline Drive. Follow Skyline Drive to end,(a T), turn left on 511 South. Make a right on West Brook Road (just past restaurant on corner). *Keep left at junction with Stonetown Road after crossing the reservoir. One half mile after junction, turn left on to Snake Den Road. Drive uphill bearing left to the parking area on the right just before the gate to the Weis Ecology Center.
