About the Event
We will take a 30 minute tour of FDR's Hyde Park home and visit the historical exhibits at the Library & Museum . Afterward we will take a ride over to The Apple Pie Bakery at the Culinary Institute for some delicious desserts and/or coffee (cost on your own). Bring snacks for during the day.

Get to know FDR, 32nd President of the United States and one of the most important political figures of the twentieth century. Elected to an unprecedented four terms, Roosevelt led the United States through two national crises, the Great Depression and World War II, and in the process presided over events that fundamentally altered the course of American history.
We will meet at FDR's home in Hyde Park, NY at 10am and sign up for 30-minute tour. We will work around our tour time to visit the museum and library. Bring snacks. Afterward, we plan to head over to The Apple Pie Bakery at the Culinary Institute of America for some delicioys desserts and/or coffee (at your own cost).
