Beginner Backpack to Bald Rock Shelter at Harriman State Park, NY on Sat 6/8 - Sun 6/9/2024

We will hike approximately 2 miles to the Shelter, set up camp, ane day hike in the area (with empty packs). The following day, we will relax in the early morning, have another short day hike in the area, have lunch , break camp and hike back to the cars.
AFW offers some equipment for folks to borrow before you need to go out and buy it - a backpacking backpack, tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, stoves and water treatment. Include your need for equipment to borrow on the event registration form.
