Adirondacks Hiking Weekend Saturday July 27 - Tuesday July 30, 2024
AFW is planning on running its summer weekend of hiking in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains at the Rock and River B&B in Keane, NY.
The hiking will be moderate & strenuous with a possible easy/moderate warm-up hike Saturday afternoon and good-bye hike Tuesday morning. The plan
is to do Pitchoff on Monday (this is an all-day strenuous hike). The plans for the Sunday hike(s) have not been set but could range from mod
to moderate/strenuous. Please note, the “plan” is subject to change depending on the weather. We’ll spend the late afternoons and evenings
resolving the world’s problems, discussing books we’ve read and new and old passions. No matter what, we never seem to run out of topics.
