Adirondacks Hiking Weekend Saturday July 25 - Tuesday July 28, 2026
AFW is planning on running its annual Summer weekend of hiking in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains at the Rock and River B&B in Keane, NY.
The “plan” is to do a short warm-up hike up at Heaven Hill Saturday afternoon (this is a 30 min. drive from the Inn) and offer a choice of 2 hikes on Sunday & Monday TBD (one mod/stren to stren. and one between mod to mod+), and a good-bye hike Tuesday morning at Mt. Gilligan. Please note, the “plan” is subject to change depending on the weather. We’ll spend the late afternoons and evenings resolving the world’s problems, discussing books we’ve read and new and old passions. No matter what, we never seem to run out of topics.
