Adirondacks Hiking Weekend
Saturday, July 30 – Tuesday, August 2, 2022
AFW is planning on running its summer weekend of hiking in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains at the Rock and River B&B in Keane, NY.
The hiking will be moderate to strenuous (by Adirondack standards) with a warm-up hike Saturday afternoon and good-bye hike Tuesday morning. The plan is to do Pitchoff (this is a shuttle hike) on Monday and Van Hoevenberg on Sunday (the “plan” is subject to change depending on the weather) and then spending the late afternoons and evenings resolving the world’s problems, books we’ve read, new and old passions. No matter what, we never seem to run out of topics.
