"What Would You Do If ..... ?" Workshop (or Woodswoman 101 - The Sequel)
Saturday, March 31, 2012
After a very successful Woodswoman 101 Workshop many of you wanted more. More information on how to use your compass and map to find out if you’re on the right trail. What to do if you’re lost. Some basic first aid based on what we’ve done in the field. What to have in your pack, especially for long and/or solo hikes, and how to use it. Making an emergency shelter or putting up a tent without poles. We will go over basic knots and where to use them. What you need for an emergency fire. But most important, we want to answer your questions. So please email Dagi, Jackie or AFW and let us know your concerns. No request will be too “unusual” and we will do our best to come prepared with answers to all of them.
This will be a hands-on, in-the-field type of workshop. More information on what to bring will be sent to participants.
