We will hike about 6 miles to a shelter and settle in for the evening. We will have the opportunity to gather water, set up camp and cook a backpacking dinner. After dinner we'll enjoy the company and the surroundings. The following day we will relax in the early morning, break camp and hike a different route back to our cars.
This is a good introductory trip, but some experience is necessary. Participants will be responsible for supplying their own food and gear. Water filtration systems will be provided. Many larger items can be rented from sporting goods stores. Some equipment will be available for loan.
