Sharing outdoor adventures and friendship
Adventures For Women, founded by Betsy Thomason, is a non-profit organization, one of the few "women only" outdoor clubs in the U.S.
We bring women, 18 years or older, of all abilities together...
- to share adventures and camaraderie
- to learn new skills and develop confidence
- to gain new insights and experiences
We are an eclectic organization that loves to explore and is equally at home in the woods, the suburbs, or the city. We pride ourselves on providing ample opportunities for women to empower, improve and define themselves.

St. Alban's Church, Oakland, NJ
Save the date and come join us for a day of fun on Saturday, March 29, 2014. We are still planning the event and will post the details on our website when they become available. We will also send a broadcast email to our members closer to the date.
As of this writing, we are planning to meet at St. Albanís Church that morning to carpool to Ramapo Mt State Forest for a hike and return to St. Albanís after the hike for snacks, a fun event (TBD) and a pot luck dinner.
We hope to see you there!
